Tax Accountant

Dulin, Ward & DeWald, Inc. (DWD) a full-service CPA firm located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a privately held corporation that has been serving clients for more than 75 years.  DWD strives to provide timely, high quality client services that exceed our client’s expectations. 

We are seeking a qualified, energized professional to be part of our firm.  This individual will be a key player in our tax department.  The responsibilities will include being able to manage client relationships and being proficient in tax planning, tax research, tax return preparation and tax return review for both individual and business entities.  This person will also be expected to supervise and mentor staff members.  The position provides an opportunity for someone who is interested in career advancement.

The person must have strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills, and a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a requirement.  Familiarity with Ultra Tax, CS Fixed Assets and Checkpoint tax research software is a plus. 

The position requires the candidate to have a CPA license with approximately 5 to 7 years of experience.  The position is a full time, salaried position.  DWD offers flexible work schedules, a competitive benefits package and an opportunity for advancement.
