We understand that the annual audit requirement for 401(k) plans can sometimes be tedious and cumbersome. Our Virtual 401(k) Audits are designed to make the process as seamless as possible, so that you can focus on your business while we complete your audit remotely.
We offer competitive fixed fees so that there are no surprises throughout the process.
The fees for limited scope audits are as follows:

250 and Less $11,500
251 – 500 $13,500
501+ Please contact Zach Richards for a quote
Additional Fees
- $2,000 for initial audits (additional testing on prior year activity is required for first time audits)
- $1,000 for initial audits with DWD, previously audited by other CPA (additional time is required to review the prior auditor’s documentation)
- $1,000 for change in custodian or trustee during the year
- $1,000 for change in payroll provider during the year
DWD is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center for CPA Firms. This membership is available to firms who demonstrate a commitment to employee benefit plan audit quality and raise awareness of the importance of employee benefit plan audits. Established in 2004, this center provides the guidelines and tools that CPAs need to perform high quality benefit plan audits.
