We’re looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Marion office. What You’ll Do
As a Senior Tax Accountant at DWD, you’ll work directly with clients and fellow professionals to provide thoughtful tax planning and compliance services across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, nonprofit organizations, and payroll tax filings.
- Building lasting client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Assisting clients with tax planning opportunities and responding to tax-related questions.
- Researching tax issues and applying current tax law to client situations.
- Collaborating with partners and team members to deliver high-quality client service.
- Managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintaining the highest level of professionalism and client confidentiality.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who enjoys building client relationships, solving complex tax issues, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications include:
- CPA license (actively pursuing CPA certification) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
- Public accounting tax experience preferred.
- Experience preparing returns for pass-through entities, partnerships, corporations, and individual taxpayers.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
- Experience with UltraTax, CS Fixed Assets, and tax research software is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
