DWD CPAs & Advisors is seeking an experienced CPA eager to join our Nonprofit Services Team and contribute to a firm that values both professional growth and community impact. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about helping nonprofit organizations succeed, produces high-quality work, provides exceptional client service, and builds strong relationships within the community.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform audits of various types of nonprofit organizations

• Prepare and review nonprofit tax returns (Forms 990 and 990-T)

• Provide guidance and support to nonprofit clients on accounting and financial matters

• Collaborate with other members of the Nonprofit Services Team to develop and implement best practices and process improvements

• Stay up-to-date with nonprofit accounting standards and regulations

• Build and maintain strong relationships in the community and with nonprofit clients

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting

• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and practices

• Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks and/or Intacct

• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for nonprofit organizations and helping them achieve their missions
